Leaking From Test? - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

Perhaps this may seem small, and very old for that matter, what with the coming of El Patron's weapons, but I might point out that... well...

A boss by the name of "Stench" showed up in the phase files one day while I was absent-mindedly looking through them. Only later did I find out on the Pirates Online Wiki that someone had found him in the game itself. He was in a "Crew". One of several crews in fact. From what I figured out, (And these haven't shown up yet) his crew-mates, (Also bosses) included Wreak, Billow, and Captain Something-or-Other. But he's only been seen once in-game. Who thinks this is leaking out before it's time?

P.S. If you see any of these in-game, be sure to take screenshots and PM them the me, or at very least put them in a forum.

I don't think they are leaks, but rather rare bosses. They've probably been spotted more than once, but given the fact they are "rare" they don't show up regularly. When enemies are defeated, they are sometimes replaced with a boss character (again, rarely), that could be the case there too. Also, I think Stench has been there for a while.

I've seen Stench. I'm pretty sure he is a Grave Digger Boss. I found him in Port Royal Graveyard if I'm not mistaken.

I don't understand...

I've seen... all of these bosses. Aren't they just the rare bosses that show up in certain places rarely? Not all bosses just spawn in the same place. I ran into a Brigand boss that didn't usually spawn in one of the spots.

Sorry. Now that it's been confirmed that they've been spied more than a few times, I know they aren't just mistakes. But has anyone seen a boss with "Captain" before its name? I really want screenshots of these. By the way, nobody else had reported it to the wiki, so I supposed it hadn't been much more, if at all. I do know that there are rare bosses that spawn irregularly, having taken screenshots of quite a few of them myself. But regardless, I try to keep up with all new or rare bosses. Any new-found bosses I would like to know about. So take screenshots folks, and report them to this forum... or to me. Ok?

I think I've even seen Stentch. And while on the topic bosses, who think that Davy Jones' crew should have bosses? They would be hard to defeat because of the level's, but boy, they would put up a good fight!

I've seen Stench before.. I believe I was working on my Padres tp quest. I mentioned it on guild and a couple people came to see him.. I've only seen him that one time.

What if they were planning on re-doing bosses so they actually have a crew you have to fight first?

Stench alone is not a challenge, but imagine if he was surrounded by other skellies trying to protect him. Might be more fun trying to take down a boss and make it worth the loot we would get.

In a sense. I was working the Pearl quest on Test yesterday and I had to take down I think it was a Navy Cadet boss (not kidding) but we also had a bunch of of Navy Guards around him. Not a challenge, mind you, but still shows that they are tinkering even with stuff that exists to give it a bit of juice.

Stench is not a new boss, nor is he rare. If you spend as much time in the catacombs as I do, you'd too, see him almost daily.

By rare, it just means that he isn't a spawning boss. If you don't kill enemies then you will "rarely" see him, depending on your luck. It's highly unlikely you will walk into the Catacombs and see him, without so much as attacking a thing.

Still.. guess you could say he is just "uncommon" then.
