Welcome to this weeks 'The Black Sail' Issue! This issue is going to have a bit of everything, so lets see whats up!

Ahoy everyone! One of the BIGGEST changes in POTCO history is now upon us, the relese of new wepons! But these are not just any new wepons, they are El Patrons wepons! These wepons can do many new things that the old weponds could not do, like make your attack stronger, give you new skills, and more!


One of the new things that this new relese brought is that you can now only hold four wepons with you. So now you can't use the normal Cutlass, Pistol, Doll, Dagger, Grenade, and Staff now, you can only use four of these things. Also, while you can only hold four wepons, you can now have a Ship Item with you. The ship item can make certon things on your ship better, like your Full Sail loads faster, Open Fire is stronger, and more!


While all these wepons look like it would be VERY VERY fun to use, there is one bad thing that happend out of this... On the test sever, it seems that everyone lost all there wepons and clothes. All the new wepons that you unlocked, gone. All the wepons you did quests for, gone. All th clothes you had, gone... Including the black skull bandana... The test sever has been down for a few days now, so everyone is hopeing that it will be fixed soon!

Haveing fun with El Patrons Wepons on Test Sever by Mark Bladeflint

Disney releses a brand new thing, what do you do? Well, if you have test the first thing you do is scream and then log on to the test sever to check out what the new update is all about. Thats what I did, so now I get to tell everyone about it.


I'm sitting there, then Ben runs up to me and yells " El patrons wepons are here!!! So what do I do? I run over to my computer and log on to test. When I get on, I chech out the new inventory system thing. So I set my four wepons of choise, then I head off to the Tortuga Swamp. After killing a Giant Gator about 5 times, it finally drops something. It ends up droping some gold and a tonic. I nearly missed it because I didn't know I had to pick up a bag to get my prize.


So after picking it up, I go back to town, stock up, then I head to to Wildwoods. Once there, I find a scorpian boss. Because i'm me, I run over and attack the lvl 2 boss. When I kill it, it droped a chest. After opening it, I get some tonics and a new cutlass. I killed it again because it droped a chest, so I wanted to see if it would so it again, and yet it droped a bag. So, thats where I go to plunder now because it drops something every time.


After killing it a few more times, I get a brodside ( That might be the name of it. ). The brodside I found out, is the strong version of a cutlass. It can attack multibe people in the same attack, so it's usefull if you are under attack by alot of people. After useing my new sword for a bit, I deside to see if the shops sell some new stuff. It does end up that they sell new stuff, so I buy a Bayonet. The bayone is the new way to lvl up your gun, because you may not be able to shoot navy, you can stab them, and you do get rep by stabbing them.


After a bit, I end up plundering a Saber. The saber, can do a very fast combo, and is usefull when there is rep stealers because you still get alot of rep because it's not the strongest. Here is a chart thing on the new swords and what is good about them, and whats not.


Cutlass: Pros: Has a pretty good combo, balenced. Cons: Has a combo delay at the end. It's usefull when you are one on one.


Sabers: Pros: VERY fast combos, is usefull when there is rep stealers because you can milk alot or rep from an enemy. Cons: Isn't the strongest sword because of how fast it is.


Brodsides: Pros: The stronger of the new swords, this sword can it more than one person. Cons: It has a slower combo because it's one of the stronger ones.

WG Captain: Ugh I gtg do something I’ll just turn my permissions off until I come back. (Turns off all permissions but forgets about Public)


Lvl 1 Noobby Pirate: (Comes on to the same ship) Hello everyone!!! Aww the Captain is afk I guess I’ll just… OHOHOHO there is nobody on the wheel YAYAY.


Lvl 1 Noobby Pirate: La la la la la.. This is really fun hmm how do I attack something?? I wander if I should just lea…. OHOHOH another ship I’m going to kill it >=D. Fun uhhh how do I… AHHH It attacking me why is the health yellow colored now?!?!?


Lvl 1 Noobby Pirate: Wow that was close good thing I got off the ship right in time =D. That was the worst WG I ever saw it didn’t even last for 20 mins =’(.
30 minutes later.


WG Captain: What in the world what happened?!?!?!?!? Who is this guy on my chat, and how did he get there?!?!?! ~Cry~ I had full Royal cargo on my ship!!!! ~Cry~, CURSE YOU LVL 1 NOOBBY PIRATE!!!!! CURSE YOU!!!!!!!

Poor Ben and his nooby pirate incidents. *sigh*

So bosses hand out more treasure, even if they're low bosses, huh? I'll have to go check that out once my test server becomes available again....

Nice job on the issue Mark! I'll come back later once the comic is approved by the mods.


Edit: Ouch. That comic does kind of speak the truth though.....I truly hope we don't get that way with El Patron's weapons.
