I always join the losing side. It provides more of a challenge, usually more to shoot at, they need the help (LOL) and the all important bounty the winners be hauling around can't be had if your on their side.

Well I do not really SvS Its not my fav thing to do but When I do Play I join the Losing side. It givs more of a chalenge.

When I SvS I usually join whoever has an open slot or whoever is a ship short.

I chose the "whatever side is open" choice. I don't care if they're winning (it just makes it easier), if they're losing (it's more of a challenge), or what colors they are, as long as I can get in on the fun. I don't normally SvS anymore, but when I used to, it was a lot of fun... too bad so much has changed since the first day of it
