Customize Ships

If you could customize a ship, which PotCO said they are planning to introduce to the game, what would your ship look like?

I'd have my ship look just like a sloop, except there are only four cannons on the top deck - one on each side. The ship would be about as long as a mid size galleon but with better armor and more health. In the back of the ship would be two sets of stairs, and on the middle and the sides, walkways with railings to get to them. Below the deck would be eight cannons, four on each side. There would be spacious amounts of room for each cannon so the crew can see out. In the back, blocked by netting, would be the Bilge and the Cargo hold (under the stairs). The under-deck would also have plenty of lanterns.


It would be different if we could have indoor cabins and stuff. That would be awesome!

Do you guys have any ideas for ships you'd like to customize?

when they say customize i'd guess they mean sails, color you know stuff like that i doubt you will be able to do much more then that.

I would want my boat to be fast and carry a lot of cargo.

being able to choose the hull and sail color would be a nice addition.

also it would be nice to have pirate flags for ships that we could choose from.

I honestly wouldn't even know where to start! It would be kind of cool to customize your own flag.

To this pirate girl, it's more important to change clothes and hairstyles which I can't wait to do!!

Not yet, but we are planning on expanding the game in the future to be able to customize what types of cannons, broadsides, prows and sails you have on your ship, as well as other cool ways to make your ship unique.

those things does sound good although im still wandering how you could customize your cannons besides placement.
the customizing of broadsides has me curious aswell since they are already located in the best place.

hull and sail color would certainly be a nice feature and lets hope they dont forget the addition of pirate flags. its hard to yell "hoist the colors" when there are no colors to hoist.

Well maybe they'll have different types of cannon/broadsides that you can upgrade to? Maybe they will have a longer range or something? lol I don't know, but it is something to look foward to

The prow is the fore part of a ship, the stem and its surrounding parts, hence used like keel, by metonymy, of the ship itself. It is often depicted in movies with carved figurehead in the form of a mermaid or other similar figure. The prow is often confused with the bow of the ship. In old naval parlance, the prow applied to the battery of guns placed in the fore gun-deck.

I would like to see a Below Deck part of the ship.
With more cargo room, more cannons, and more shipmates that can be allowed on the ship! And, if and when we can customize ships, I would want mine to be like the Flying Dutchman. Maybe just after jones dies though.

well Me Personally would love to have 6 cannons up front frigate style and have better speed i would be the king of the seas then
