That's not considered graphics. Weather, waves, fog, etc.., are all products of the graphics.

Graphics are polygons, how clear texture is, the detail of our pirates, etc...

And detail has gone way down. If you go here and click on the video that says Video Insider, Game Character you'll see how high the character details were... or were supposed to be. They used to look half that good, and then they downgraded them in an update just a few months ago.(be sure to look at the faces part. You'll notice freckles on the faces and more polygons, horray!)

Tell me that we have freckles on our pirate faces sometimes and get me a picture and I'll say the graphics haven't downgraded, but until then, that video shows how good POTCOs graphics could be. But they aren't, because Disney is too worried about getting windows 98 people to play POTCO.

Sorry, but in my opinion games are meant to be at their fullest. POTCOs graphics COULD have graphics as good as, if not better than WOWs. But unfortunately, this game hasn't gotten big enough to get in a high number of people with great running computers.

They also cater to a younger audience. The game isn't one bit hard. Maybe a bit time consuming, but that's it. It has potential, but because they want the graphics as bad as runescapes, we're not going to get much.

I know I'm on the soap box, but the graphics have been downgraded. Having a new fog system isn't upgrading, it's just changing. Notice how in the release notes they said NEW and not just a fog system. When you're graphics are on high, you can see fog, and with the NEW fog system, there's just more of it. The Caribbean looks more real, now with the new fog system.

But that's it. I haven't seen any upgrading, just downgrading. When the character faces in that video are in the game, I'll be happy with the graphics. But we all know that's not going to happen any time soon.
