Glitches that might not be fixed?

Ok. I'm not TOTALLY sure about this but I think some glitches like climbing Port Royal and Empty Kingshead will not be fixed. Well, the reason is, they don't really have any point or help you advance in the game. But invincibility glitches, they can help you advance in the game. Those ones SHOULD be fixed. Because really that is not fair to other players who aren't cheating. Climbing Port Royal is just for fun. If anyone has any objections feel free to let me know. All I am saying is this is my prediction. And I could be wrong. And what I think is, why fix a glitch that doesn't do anything really?

I agree that any glitch that is just used for fun is harmless and should not be fixed. Visiting NPC's, sitting in a rock or walking along walls to admire the view is a harmless pass time that I and many of my friends share. There are a few glitches that can help you cheat the game and thankfully most of them are quickly reported and removed. The jail glitch that made you invincible took years to fix, the speeding glitch must still work because I saw a speeding ship just yesterday(really fast too) but aside from those I can't think of any glitches that harm anyone? Raiders still stop attacking in mid-battle but I don't see that as an illegal advantage since its occurs without the player doing anything wrong to make it happen. The fence in Kingshead still holds back the MOB but again that's not really considered a glitch by most since its used so much, no real advantage to one player over another.
I think there will be some that believe anything you do that is outside the game parameters is cheating and should be fixed because it messes up the computer program running POTC. I'm not sure how that works but I see it as a lot of worry over very little trouble. Just play to have fun and do what makes you happy. Disney will tell you if your glitching breaks the rules and they will fix any glitches that mess them up. If they don't, then it must not be that big a deal for them either.

I agree, those glitches are fun to do when you're tired of leveling for the day, or just with other friends who love to glitch. They are harmless, so Disney should not be focused on those glitches, but rather fixing the glitches that actually help you cheat in the game. Just the other day in Kingshead, two pirates were leveling on Remington as I was, and they crewed me. One had to go restock on the throw daggers, and when he was coming back he said "I don't think I can tp to you, I'm invincible" So, apparently Disney still hasn't fixed all the invincibility glitches.

I agree as well. Things like the balcony glitches and the others mentioned above are really just fun things for us to do and have no harm on the gameplay.

I myself had an invincibility problem not long ago, and it's beyond me as to how it happened. I was on a quiet server sailing for gold, made it to PDF with a full cargo without any incident, and when I ported I tried to TP to Cuba, and I was given the lovely "You can't teleport while in jail" message. Went to the nearest enemy and sure enough, invincible. I logged off and back on and continued, but did send an in-game comment about it before logging. (I haven't a clue if they read those or not, but it can't hurt.)

Lol I spent a long time thinking about this today. Now glitches like Empty Kingshead has been around for a LONG time. So I guess Disney just doesn't bother since there is really nothing to worry over. Now cheating using the invincibility glitch or something, that is breaking the rules because doesn't it say your supposed to be honest in the rules? Now if your doing the empty kingshead glitch, they don't care because it doesn't help you advance in the game. Later!

I'm not worried about speeding pirates (haven't seen any in a while) but the Navy is TERRIBLE about it. I've seen so many speeding Navy ships its not even funnyy! But I would like trying the speed glitch on my ship once. LOL that would be interesting to see.

the Navy and the East India Trading Company have special permits for such behavior. Just like when they detain your ship for decimating all but one of their crew. XD

Lol they are so lucky! Man if I ever get to highjack a ship it will be a speeding Navy ship XD.

yeah they mad because im the only person around who can be in the god glitch and not just be in it but have working weapons also but im on the side of people who think lvln my own pirate with a god glitch is fair..

and is no harm to others

you cant even board ships or tp in it cant go to pvp cant hurt anyone with it so why not oh and no im still not telling that one

No you aren't. I have done the god glitch by mistake and its even on the forums. XD

Yeah... plenty of people have done the god glitch. And it isn't fair, no matter what you can't do. By doing the glitch, you can't die, making leveling that much easier. Taking advantage of a glitch to advance in the game isn't fair, its just cheating.

The old flag ship glitch? The KH fence, the steps on old catacombs, the glitched raiders? Cheating? I think perhaps not everything is so black and white. I don't know too many pirates that didn't gain a rep from these by accident or on purpose. Perhaps there are some things that we can agree on? God Glitching is wrong. Invincible glitching is also. PVP, SVS and speeding glitches are wrong. Lets agree on these and leave it to Disney to sort out the rest. I urge everyone to report glitches and those who do them over and over, volume counts! The more you complain the more likely things will get fixed.

one time i tped to a friend and i was sail,ing on a navy ship!!
so i killed the driver and it let me drive it! one bad thing though other pirates could shoot at me. bet they were shocked when i sunk them lol
