The Pirate that Could

There once was a pirate,
A notorious pirate,
Known simply as the Pirate that Could.

Because he was known,
To have kings' heads thrown,
Over the walls and into the woods.

The townspeople cowered,
At the sight of his ship,
The mighty Feather Eater.

As he came in,
From each notorious trip,
With his faithful kitten, Demeater.

As he exited his vessel,
He would laugh like a hyena,
Until the locals could bear it no more.

And they'd bring him their profits,
Every single dubloon,
From every house and store.

The locals were frightened,
Even more by Demeater,
Who would carry out a most distressful attack.

He'd rub his paracites,
Onto their legs,
And up and down their backs.

Then one day,
On an unknown island,
A man discovered the priate's real name.

As the people were screaming,
The man suddenly felt grand,
As he called the pirate, and the pirate came.

"What be the meanin'
Of that thar yelp?"
Said the pirate with some confusion.

"I found out yer name,
At least, so I felt."
As the pirate's madness caused nuclear fusion.

"IMPOSSIBLE!"
He yelled aloud,
And up the islander's hand shot.

"But true,
I've removed the cloud,
Mr. Chris Stormshot!"

The pirate.
Let out a shriek,
A most detestable sound.

And ever since,
That day of the week,
He has never yet been found.

I aimed for wacky, crazy, unbelievable poem.
And no, none of that is real.
Except maybe (Shh!) for Demeater. (JK.)

Lol. Nice story CS although I wished you had rhymed more. and by demeater, were you by chance refering to the greek god demeter?
