Skeleton Ship

I need to recover Cursed Wood from a Skeleton ship. The only Skeleton ships I have seen are the largest War Frigates which take my Galleon down pretty fast. I heard of a lesser skeleton ship, where is it? Does anyone have a picture that they can post or even email me so I know what I am looking for?

I'd suggest using another sailing fighting tactic rather than trying to scope out a "rumored" easy ship.

Try circling in front of their bow, since they're not manned ships (like navy) and thus cant shoot foward. Stay off their port & starboard, and you're good to go.

Or... there's always the "crew with those who have bigger ships" option - and let them do the hard work of sailing - the quest only requires you to be along for the ride.

There are usually some level 17 ships between Tortuga and Rumrunners. Sometimes it seems all the ships disappear when you need them

Phantoms are the lowest level skelly ships, usually lvl 17-19.

Thanks guys for the advice! I finally did find a level 17 ship and barely survived with a few ship health remaining. I was successful in sinking it and retrieving the Cursed wood! yay !!
