New Pirate Clothing Options are more limited.

The create a pirate options for clothing are more limited. There fewer selections for each category. Only a few shirts, vests, boots and pants, no hats or coats.

The chocies are also the less expensive items that are available in the stores.

Disney might be doing this to encourage people to get unlimited access but if you creating a pirate on unlimited account, shouldn't you be able to get more options?

I quite agree it bites. It's been that way for a few weeks now though. What gets my goat is that there are 6 shirt options for male pirates, who can take theirs off thank you, and only 4 for girls, who can't! What sense this makes, I have no clue.

The no coats or hats thing, indeed the whole point of reducing the selection, as you said, is most likely to get more people to go unlimited. However, they will not allow more options for Unlimited Access members as they want you to play more to go out and buy more clothes. It's quite simple, the more you play to earn the gold for the clothes, the more you pay Disney to get to play. It all boils down to the bottom line. How much money can they make off us?

An if you think create is bad here, fairies in the Hollow don't get to pick an outfit at all. They all start in the same thing. All in the name of more money for Disney.

I do agree that it does suck to be limited on the Create-A-Pirate screen. Disney may actually be partly addressing the question of "What do we do with our gold?" Haha... Right.

I'd like to see more clothing choices in shops. That first vest that's available for guys in the creation screen? You can't buy a black one at all (which I wish I had, lil Sven has it tho). I think at least have what was available in the creation screen all be available in some form in the shops.

I agree! I also think that that very industrial looking vest girls can buy in silver but you could get in color in create before they took it away should be available in color in the shops. That thing is very cool in color but the silver just doesn't go with a whole lot.

I also think that true black and true white need to be available in shops, not just on create. And, seriously, both in create and in shops, fix the swatches D! Why in the world is brown purple for girls! How hard really is it to make those swatches the color you actually get? Why is white blue half the time? Why are some colors iridescent? As an Unlimited Access, what I want most of anything in game is for them to just fix those swatches!

The colors you get to choose from actually are just overlaying on top of the base clothing. If there base clothing is not white, the "colored" version won't be the color but a blend of that color and the original.

I have tried time and again to get true black and true white for my pirate with no success. The white does not look very white and the black is kind of dark greyish or something. The color swatches are not accurate. I wish they would fix that. I have a cool outfit in mind for my pirate that won't happen until they fix this.

I really need true red to go with my vest. Its just like a weird dark pink purple thing. I mean I know this is pirate times but why do they have a true red vest then no true red shirt? Oh well, I found an even cooler outfit!
