Please explain the treasures thing??
Hello. My first post. Woo Hoo!
If there is a thread on this already, I appologize... I looked and didn't find anything. The treasures you collect in battle against soldiers, undead folk, etc - are those kinda like pins, badges, you know things that are just neat to look at, or can you do anything with them? Like sell them - trade them - and if so how? Thanks! |

They appear to be Disney's way of helping you earn more gold as you get to higher levels. Every few levels you are given the chance to unlock a new treasure class and begin earning them. The more you have access to, the more frequent a kill brings in something. When you earn one you simiply get the value of it in gold at that time. Each one may not add up to much, but after you have enough of them open and start getting them more frequently they do help you rack up gold fast just taking out enemy.
You cannot do anything with the stuff in your book. You already got the gold value for them at the time you found it and the pictures in your book are just there for you to look at. The system of giving you the full value of treasure in gold as you find it is a bit odd if you ask me. Disney should have made you take them to the people you saw to open it up in the first place and cash them in. They should also give a bonus when you have collected at least one of everything in each catagory. |

The only useable treasures right now are the playing cards you get. You can use them to swap cards cheating at poker and blackjack.
Maybe the other treasures will come in handy on future story lines, but as of right now, what WH said, you get the gold and then something pretty to look at in your journal. |

I personally like the fact that it gives us the gold from it when we pick it up. None of this inventory nonsense like in other games, simple.
I would like to be able to find and pick up weapons and ammo though, providing you had the skill to use it. |
