While i was playing POTCO i found a Jolly Roger Undead Soldier or it could've been from Davey Jones locker that climbed our ship hmm hmm??
well i was on cannon and my ship mate was behind me then out of nowhere a name says "Mind Your Own Business Pirate!" and i am seeing this creepy thing near meh then i look behind me and my ship mate is just standing there nothing was wrong wonder what happened

That looks like the top of a voodoo staff to me. Does your friend have the staff? As for the comments, the dialogue of NPCs on nearby ships will show up in the chat from time to time.

Let me ask him, and yes i went to Beckett's Quarry and found a EITC enemy called Hired-Gun so i solved that but ive seen voodoo staffs but not like that i heard no noise of taking a voodoo staff out and its look like a head to me i looked behind me and he wasn't holding a voodoo staff
