Current Ocean For Gambling!

What do you guys think of this idea?


We basically, unofficially make a certain ocean the main ocean for gambling,
as lag doesn't matter much when you are playing cards,
and if you are playing cards, all you are looking for is another human player.

(Search for Games is still broken as far as I know)

Think about it, if you feel like gambling,you sail to cuba, you join the gambling ocean (say Barten for example)', you enter the bar and notice.. OTHER PEOPLE!

I find its hard to find someone to gamble with sometimes, as it makes it more interesting for me, if my winnings and/or loosing is coming from something other than just 'the game'.


Currently I bet you could find about 5 or so people betting in a specific Island, and they would all be in different oceans. We need some way to band together!

Good idea, and we put the server name in our signatures for others to see. I wouldn't mind playing some real poker after milking the npcs. I normally play at Del Fuego, the highest place for bidding. Cruzos is my choice, its normally quiet, but its your idea. =)

Good idea, but me doesn't gamble much except for quests or if I need quick gold. I do vote either Barten or Galagua.

Sounds good, now we just need to raise community awareness,

I guess the best way to do this would be if you see someone gambling tell them 'barten' is where all the real players play.

I'd really like to be able to drop into a Bar and find a full table..

I guess if all the tables are full in Barten, we just go to the one below it..
Hopefully this fills those tables up, because it just seems like there are too many oceans to gamble in, and too many people are just either winning or loosing their money from the NPC's

I'll try to jump on Barten for some card playing.

I like this idea.

However, you'll usually find me at the tables with smaller bets. For me, the thrill is just in the winning, not necessarily how much I win.
