Help with Processor

My computer meets all the requirements on the game's site but the game still goes slow. I checked my processor, and I see 2 numbers. I have an Intel Centrino Mobile Technology processor. It says 1.9 GHz 209 MHz in System Properties. Which number is my processor speed?

ytour processor will be 1.9 ghz as i8f it was 200mhz then there is now way it would play this game

One of the main important things for this game is computer memory which is quite different from hard disk space if you want to check it will be on the same screen as the processor and you will need at least 512 MB but best to have 1 gb +

That's a link to a cpu identification program if you're still lost

This doesn't have an option to check for pirates though

Just because you meet it(system reqirements) doesn't mean it will run like a dream, try pressing F7 and dropping some of the graphics settings like the resolution, and some of the geometry settings down.

Lowering these values will increase speed of the game, and I find turning all reflection off makes sailing run like a dream.

One of the main pitfalls with laptops is the memory and the video card, the cpu is most always fast enough.

If you can find out the model number or the type of video card and memory you have then that would help.

sorry, bit of a quick post the other day if you want to confirm your grahics card, memory and processor -

hold down the windows key and press 'r' ( or click start then 'run' ) and type in dxdiag then press enter. the display tab shows your graphics card details.
