Codes?

Just curious... there is a spot for entering codes in the clothing and tattoo shops. Does anyone know where you can get codes?

I've always wondered that myself actually. Maybe someone could send up an e-mail to Disney about it asking what they're for?

As of now, there is no known use for the clothing/tattoo codes, mainly, because, well, nobody that I know has ever heard of one existing :P

Hopefully, these codes will come into play in a future update, or possibly, the will be given out by the GM's, just like they did in that Test of Strength event they had awhile back (only the codes they handed out for that was for gold. Yay, 150 gold >.>)

Codes will be given to you later on in the game, which you can redeem for clothes, I think. They will be given to you later on when the updates (Like in September).

At this time we do not plan on releasing codes to redeem items in the shops on the various islands. Please keep checking the News of the Caribbean for game updates and new releases.

Starting out I'd like to state that multiple people from a fansite out there on the sea we call the internet has wondered this, and I am
speaking on behalf of them. Since one of the recent updates we have noticed the addition of a "Code" button in the clothing and tattoo shops all across the Caribbean. There was never really anything mentioned about these buttons, but they do bring up a GUI screen to enter a code. I am guessing this is to get unique tattoos and clothes, but we were all wondering where these codes could be found? I know that with some of your other online games you have codes that come from products (Pixie Hollow clickables, Club Penguin toy codes, etc.), can we expect that in the future or will there be in game ways to receive these codes?

You didn't go hard and demanding with them POTCO developers need a little bit of positive or negative motivation, or we will never see new content

They'll probably tie it into merchandise at the Disney Parks like in VMK. You got a code with a card if you bought a pack of two VMK pins.

I dont know about codes, but when I go to my local .99/store their books section is full of official POTC story books, poster books, game/puzzle books. Nothing too comprehensive, a kids line of products that didnt pan out? Not sure where they planned on going with the codes, im personally thinking it was targeting the phone business (ie Cannons of the Deep).
