+____ Damage
I've noticed that grave shackles and curse on the doll do 1 damage reguardless of doll type. I have a Taboo doll, should it not be 9 damage? I wouldn't like it to, but thats not the question.

I think this is because they are not "really" supposed to do damage - they are effects which allow other attacks to do more damage - but they couldn't program them to do 0 damage - so they get -1 so the attack registers then your other attacks (your curse for example) are more effective.

Im not sure that these attacks are actually supposed to do damage, and what we see is a small bit from the attack itself being put into play and not effected directly by the weapon damage.

That doesn't answer the question. I doubt there is one. I think it should do +8 damage reguardless. this also brings up the question: does the +damage even work at all?

We were both basically saying that in our opinion, "No, your advanced damage weapon should not multiply the amount of damage on these attacks, as they were not designed to do damage in the first place". Of course its all hypothesis, we dont know what the intentions of the coders are in this case. |

Hmm, with that said, why should curse and grave shackles be only -1, when on an enemy, they both do -100+ to us pirates?
