Some of the lvl 15 weapons quests do require you to kill X number of enemies with a certain weapon.

Well actually, even with the level 15 weapon quests asking you to use certain weapons to kill enemies, the reward is still regular notoriety. What Jinxe is saying is that he (and I) would like quests to reward weapon rep for completing a quest that asks you to defeat enemies with said weapon. Btw Jinxe, good post and I agree 100 %

I understand and it would be nice but getting Not for killing 30 enemies with only the cutlass you also get weapon rep for each kill so you get both!

Actually, that idea would be perfect new quests for the TRAINERS to give out.

I can imagine seeing Jade Bladefury or another trainer and getting special quests that involve only using a certain weapon and if you complete it - you could get a short 2x bonus, but with only that weapon, to help you master it sooner - as though you were taking lessons.

I really like this idea. As it is too much of this game is about leveling weapons. It should be called Grinders of the Caribbean. Having quest that give out weapons rep above and beyond what you get actually using the weapon and instead of noto would be great. It would make the game more about questing and playing the game and less about grinding.

I sort of had this idea, but the reward was rep for the weapons and not certain skills. Basicly, you'd do a favor, they'd teach. Right here.
