Trouble deleting a pirate..

In one of my linked accounts, I was trying to delete a character. But, after clicking "delete", and "yes" when it asks if I'm sure I want to delete the pirate, nothing happens. I've tried various times, even after rebooting the game/computer. It doesn't affect the character at all, I'm still able to go on her as if nothing had happened. Does it have to do with the fact that it's a linked account, and not my main? OR maybe, because the account is a basic account (I highly doubt this would be the reason). I would try logging in, on my main account, and then trying to delete the pirate from the linked account....but we all know that isn't an option anymore...

What could be the problem?

As long as you are logged into the account that created the pirate you should be able to delete it. However if you created from one of your linked accounts it may not let you delete it now as it will only let its original owner/creator delete it, and now that your accounts arent 'linked' you cant switch over from the pirate that created it to delete. Just a theory, as I know they will not let you delete pirates on linked accounts (from linked accounts). Might be working against you in this case now.

You may have to call technical support for assistance in this case.

I called and asked. Zep's right. If you created the pirate through a linked account, you will be unable to delete it, as the "owner" of the pirate no longer has access. Innane, I know. You'll have to call customer support or get on live chat to have it sorted out. Good Luck.
