I think that there was too much lag and a few bugs still needed to be fixed. IMO though when they released it, the lag kinda decreased on the test server.

I voted yes because, although this is the first MMOG I've decided to join up to, it seems like there are some basic features missing - like being able to change clothes, trade items (money, ships?) between players.

It's still fun to play, but I hope that when they finish squashing bugs they start adding new features...

They should add new features. New clothes is one thing. Also when they add new stuff we should be able to trade it too.

They weren't ready to go yet. I have unlimeted access but I only get partial rep, I reported it and it hasn't been fixed yet, and some other people have that too. So, it's really worthless atm and I would be a notoriety 20 by now but I'm only 10.

Over the last couple years, they had pushed back the release so many times, I don't blame them for getting it out when they did.

Sure it was a little bit buggy, but it worked pretty well for most players. It's an online game, so they could patch the little things even after it launched.

Don't forget that World Of Warcraft, the most popular MMO ever, had a fairly rough launch -- it often had very long waits just to get logged in.

I think it was ready.

Besides, people were getting impatient. It takes ALOT of work to make a game like this, and I'm positive they did the best they can to bring the game out as quickly as possible.

While I've encountered a few bugs since it went live, it didn't seem to ahve any more than I've experienced in other MMORPGs when they went live.

Although, I did run into a funny one last night. I disabled a Navy ship and went to board it. However, my character started levitating off the ship. The more I ran around, the higher he got. Then I could walk over the water between the Navy ship and my ship. After standing over my ship for a moment or two, I usually fell back to the deck. I got some interesting screen shots out of it.

I beliIve that there will always be lag, I have had several issues with the game and finally decide to live chat with the support. They said I am having issues because I have a wireless connection. That I have to be wired for it to work well and that they will never support wireless. Disney get with the times, so if they can't support wireless that tells me that they are to cheap to fix the lag.

Well its been going down, but there's a lot of lag, therefore causing it to be hard to fight navy ships. Also random graphics errors..

I am a standard access free user. I have had a very bad impression of this game. Because im forced to use windowed mode, the text is too small. The lag is unbearable, sometimes have a delay of 10 seconds before it unfreezes. The goal of the mmo's are ussually to give the free users a better impresseion of the game so that they pay for it but Disney has done the opposite, the game mine as well not even have free version access.

Yes, I remember when in beta, I had to test the free acount. The lag was horrible, it wouldn't make me pay for the full version, if I didin't know what it was already lol.

lol this game was no way ready to go live.

The Pearl vs. Goliath battle was almost un-completable, and the Voodoo Staff cannot be attained, even though it is apparently in game.

They need to complete a game before they release it, not release it half done and work on the end-game while live.

Let's hope one day we might actually get the Voodoo Staff.

Also, I am a standard free user.. I have tons of lag! The game freezes up all the time, so I do not think it was ready to go live.

I can understand the way they have their basic account, it's just a way to show you the game, and make you buy it to find out more. BUT it just isn't good to have bad lag, graphics, etc., it's not a good way to get people to pay, it will make them think, the game is bad why should we pay if there's so much lag, etc. In unlimited there's still a good amount of bugs, yes, but it also has less lag, but still not that good, I crash in a hour and a half lol
