Just letting you know that my chat is still bugged, hopefully it will get fixed soon, but if you are not on my friends list, all I see is arrgh yarr garr... so if you say something to me, and I don't respond, it isn't cause I'm rude...(well it may not be) I just don't see what you said. I used to be able to log on with other account and scroll over... but since they have eliminated that option I guess I have to actually get my account fixed!

Sarah told me that the Chat option was probably set on Parental Controls. Happened on our 2nd account. Very frustrating... But, I went on to Pirates Online - Manage Account and set the Chat correctly. Now, Eliza's brother John can chat up a storm!

They recently (per release notes) made it easier to change/set these 'chat settings'.
I havent looked myself, but then again, I havent had a problem. Cmon Skip.. get with the program!

My parental controls are set to open chat, my account is bugged! I just don't have the two hours it takes to call Disney to fix it today... My account has been bugged since day one, it just didn't effect me before because I could scroll over.

Watch them make you create a new account, and just transfer your pirates because they likely dont have the skillz to fix the problem.

Ahhh you were the one I told about the linked accounts. I was trying to remember your name, lol.
At least they sent you an e-mail telling you they might actually do something about it. All they gave me was.. "To change your account to open chat go to the parental control settings blah blah blah blah." Needless to say I quit due to this problem. Hope they get it fixed for you though!
