I still believe it will count - the REP Wheel just does too many funny things sometimes (of course this is not counting Mastered Weapons...)

I'm not "too concerned" about the extra collection - the numbers required to get from 40 to whatever (50 or 60) will be so large that the REP collected - may get you to 41 and change (cause it will be around 42,000 for the next level - and I don't think there's that much extra REP to be found)
