tortugan artifact - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

Hi all, a bit stuck on this one; it says to recover a tortugan artifact from a buried treasure chest (for teleportation). Just wondering if it is in a specific place or is it random? And if it's random could it appear somewhere I've already checked earlier?

I completed this quest some time ago, so bear with me.
There is a dig spot behind Tortuga town (where all of the buildings are) that I believe I found the chest in. Go from the wildwoods to Tortuga graveyard. You will be behind white buildings that stand as Tortuga town. I am not certain of the EXACT location but there is one there.

I recovered it in the dig spot that's on the little hill to the right of Fabiola. ...I think....

I just got it from the dig site close to the jail. I guess it's ramdom

That's where I ended up finding it too - near the butcher there is a small hill next to a fenced yard. Must have walked past there a hundred times without realising it was a dig site.
