This is where Game Consoles have been taking over the "Game World" - their consistant use of the same parts and configuration allow developers to make games easier with very few bugs or glitches. Computers have been losing this battle for years now - yet the one area they still hold onto is Online Worlds (because until recently - Consoles could not do this, they were just like non-networked computers).

So true. I have already lost a few titles to the console market. Meaning popular game series that the developers have STOPPED making PC titles for, and continue to make console titles instead. Personally I consider consoles toys, and boycott the companies that take the approach of discontinuing PC titles on the side of creating ongoing titles for these toys. They simplify things where for a computer a user must think. Take away a persons need to think, and they turn into mush.
