Aye, I've been having some bad lag lately since the update. It's mostly when I sail, cannon, or swim, but it is also intermittent on land. So in order to not hinder the progress of the team I initially joined, I am withdrawing from the scavenger hunt. Good luck to all.

Bill,
I have had some problems, both regular game and on test. Took a loit of tweaking. Try that thread Sarah mentioned, and if it doesn't work, I'll PM you all the settings that I went through. Don't give up hope! LOL

Thanks mates, I appreciate the advice, but for the past week or so I've had every graphics setting as low as possible, and it has not helped any. I think my computer is just too slow for the game now. Please place enriquebilgehays in my spot on the team, thanks.

Ok we have the new computer!!! So the Rum Runners are complete. I will be playing Mayhem because she is the only pirate under 20 between the four of us. YAY I get to go sailing with my husband!!!!

OK, so I just saw the post about Jess' computer dying. We will miss you Jess! But I found Sam in game and she is up for joining the madness. New roster for PETR is...

Oh... um... the thing is, POTCO doesn't really work on this computer (my mom's computer) and mine doesn't even recognize the video controller anymore (although I had a tech work on it for 4 hours) and so I won't have a computer to play until I buy one.
The cheapest one I found is $449 after rebates. I don't even have that much in my bank account. I'm going to be gone for at least a month, possibly two. I'm sorry! |
