Dueces Wild - Recruitment

We are an Adult based guild. This is a place where Adults can go be....themselves!
We Like a Pirate with a sense of humor! We are a fun loving guild who like to joke around.
It helps to be sociable. We like to get together to play, plunder, and help each other out. A Lot...
We prefer, but are not limited to, unlimited members.
We absolutely will NOT tolerate rude or obnoxious behavior. No Griefing, No Flaming, No Stalking. We like our rum, our dirt, and a good laugh, but we all respect each other.

Please read over the guidelines, and if you're interested in joining our family, post here in this thread. An officer will be with you shortly.

Dueces Wild – Guidelines

General Comments

We are a guild that likes to have fun and do not want to set up all sorts of rules that must be followed. (All the guild ribbing and dirt throwing that Disney will allow is not only accepted, but usually encouraged) However, your officers would ask that each of you read these guidelines and try to follow them as closely as you can. If there is anything you are not clear on, or are having any problems during the game, please speak with the GM, a Co-GM or an officer. We are all here to help!

It is Guild policy that no member of the Guild reports any other member of the Guild to Disney, for any reason. If a member is having problems with another member, please bring it to the attention of the GM, Co-Gm's and/or officers.

Be courtious to those that are grinding weapons or gold farming, ask if they need a hand before you jump in.

Teleporting To Others: It is always polite to ask before Teleporting or following someone. They may be in the middle of battle or working on something they want to do alone. They may be on the ship of another pirate and it would be rude of you to show up unannounced.

We like to work together as much as possible with questing, leveling, plundering, et al. If you have a sword or ship to lend, speak up in guild chat! Also, if you need help with something in game, shout it out! We will come in droves to assist. There are however times when a pirate just wants to pillage alone. Please respect your fellow guildies if they just want to be alone with their ship.

Every New Guildie is on a Mandatory 30 day Probation Period. Period.

Promotions To Officer

Being an Officer in the Guild does come with some responsibility. Officers are expected to be in-game on a regular basis, and to be helpful to all other members. Officers meet occasionally to discuss matters of importance to the overall health of the Guild.

Promotions come from many sources. Time in guild, level of experience, recommendations from other officers, recruiting, how much help a person offers to others, and personal interaction are just some of the factors. The Officership belongs to the PLAYER, and not the pirate. Each player will only have two officer Pirates in Dueces. Players who are officers, and have multiple pirates in the guild, have to decide which two Pirates will be their officers. This is why you may see low level pirates who are also officers. Officers may decide to change which character is an officer at any time if they find they are playing one pirate over another more often.

The major difference between an officer and non-officer is the ability to guild new members without asking for assistance. All the officers know that they are required to vet the prospective new member before inviting them. Officers can eject guild members, too, but none of them would do that without a majority agreement of the other officers.

Posting Here On POF

Anyone can post here on the forum, either as a post to an existing thread, or by starting a new thread.
Threads that are not "STUCK" will be archived after one month of no new posts.

How to join the Dueces Wild here on POF

Being a member of Dueces Wild Guild in-game on POTCO, DOES NOT automatically make you a member of Dueces Wild here on POF. POF is not a Disney website, the two are not related.

Go to your Group Memberships page in your User CP.

Where it says "The following groups are available for you to join" go to where it says Dueces Wild and put a bullet in the bubble on the row for Dueces Wild

Click join group at the bottom.

In the request reason page, if you are a member of the Guild, just state so. It's helpful if you say who your main pirate is. (Hey we're old. Sometimes we need a reminder.)

Click Send Request.

If you are already in the guild your tag will be approved as soon as it is processed.

If you want the Dueces Wild Badge under you name just:

Go to your Group Memberships page in your User CP.

At the bottom of the page where it says "You may choose to be identified as a member of the following groups" select Dueces Wild.

Click Update Display Group.

Done!
