Sea monsters and cannons

when you get a grape shot that only works on sea monsters and pvsp. Im lvl 20 Ive seen no monsters. has anyone seen one??

Btw grape shot works on hitting the captain of a ship before your board as well, not just pvp.

Yup, no sea monsters yet, but they are expected in some fashion in the future.

We've even seen the bartenders offer quests to defeat sea monsters (although I think they were finally removed, since noone could fill them).

You can just throw out that definition entirely, as what Will 2 posts above has stated is rather correct.

Wouldnt throw the definations out entirely, as new content comes in the next decade or so, the definition will probably become accurate.

I think in order for the kraken to make an appearance that Davy Jones would have to be a factor in the game. Knowing that, he'd probably be a key one in order to "showcase him" so he'll probably appear in some new story chapter.

Now you're just being picky. But, seeing as it says it only works on those given things, and that the damage it states it does only works on the yellow, I could see the whole thing being thrown out.

As the shot scatters, and as it immobilizes, I'd say it's best used for pilots of hard to hit ships.

well I Did find some of Davy Jones crew in the caves of isla Tormenta.
P.S. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! if you have an even pretty good pirate they are too powerful for me and 4 other guys on this one guy!!!!!!!!!!

Edward and Jack - Isla Tormenta is one of the most challenging areas in the game. You really have to be a high level pirate, or have a raiding party with you that has exceptional healing skills, to make a successful foray to Tormenta.

Yes, Davy Jones' crew do inhabit Tormenta, however since he's not currently in the game I don't think it necessarily follows that Davy Jones himself must be introduced into the game in order to introduce the Kraken. The game does not parrallel the movies as evidenced by Jolly Roger who has not made an appearance in any of the movies, nor the original Disney ride.

The developers are free to introduce the Kraken at their leisure.

There was a Kraken in the beta testing (disputed), and the Kraken is featured in the game trailers. So I think it is a safe bet that the Kraken has been in the planning from day one, most likely as the second story chapter. At least, that's my HO.

Like I said, I am quite familiar with Tormenta, I go there usually to cause mayhem....But Agreed, Davy Jones and The Kraken have both been featured in pre-release insiders and trailers, which means they do have have plans for them.

I was just merely stating, that in order for the kraken to appear, Davy Jones would have to be a factor in gameplay, which would probably only work if a new story or somthing was released.

Knowing disney, Im gonna give them a couple decades...
