I just did this quest lol. You don't need corvettes, any EITC ship will work
 . But, if you really want to know where they are, most of them are near Devil's Anvil.~Cpt.Sea

Start from Tortuga, and head towards the left, there's a corvette all by its lonely

yea if u start from tortuga hang a sharp left and sail straight u will eventually see it out there all by itself waiting to be sunk
