I used to really enjoy SVS. In fact, my main pirate from Live wears a Lion's Head Tattoo on one shoulder and a Fleur-De-Lis on the other. Both were well fought and squarely won. But something happened over the years. And it is basically everything that Del said.

Too many people with a downloaded skill set who were fighting and not dying and all the while shouting. "I Rule The Ocean!" That and the freakish devotion some players seem to have for the event. It makes people unfriendly.

So I don't PVP and I don't SVS. Life's too short to worry about it.

I started to SvS a few weeks ago and still only sometimes. i can agree with a lot of the responses however everything has a solution if everyone goes with it. Thx for the tips and ill try my best to help with them problems.

Very true Ex8404 a lot happened over the years which mostly contributed to the downfall but who is to blame in this case. Many players have been complaining to Disney to fix SvS but they ignore them 90 % of the time. and LOL Its Not " I rule the ocean", Its more like " I Am the SvS God". Unfriendly but Reality is a reason why SvS is so interesting (Other than the Battles of Course) because the arguing and the fighting can be IGNORED and can be fought. I try to stay away from it by ignoring it but sometimes i lose it. And many of the Hackers have been eliminates in my opinion.

I think disney should remove all friggin light ships from svs! To bad for the weak or the noobs

They aren't all week noobs, Some of them are the best players of SvS. some take out a lite sloop with their friend since they cant gather a crew for a bigger ship.
I do agree that they are annoying since 2 level 50 are in it running all over the place.
Send Disney a suggestion to limit the number of lite sloops such as 3 or 4 on each side, or only 30 % of ships or less can be lite sloops

No when i said to bad for the "noobs" i ment like the level fives & whatever that only own a light slop. too bad for them cuz they cant SVS with a light sloop. I think only normal galleons & frigates & war Galleons & frigates Should be init. no light shipd, no sloops. to even it out so there is no team of galleons & team of sloops so ya pretty even frigates have most fire power & cannons but galleons have strongest hull & broadsides plus they r slow so its an even field.

Alright lol, You should try SvS in andaba, there you will learn that its not about the strongest or the biggest ship but the strongest crew. Its very true that those light sloops are annoying and there should be a limit on how many light sloops can sail in svs but basic players have same right to try svs. However for high levels its a different story, maybe because they cant gather a big crew or something. And for SvS i'm telling you a war gallon is the worst choice for SvS. Best ships for svs are war sloop and war frigate.

I like to be able to use whatever fits the need I have, but I agree on limiting the light sloops. Just not doing away with them. In fact, limiting numbers of each class of ship would work. Balance.

Even better, make it so if your cannon level is 12 or above, you cannot use light sloops...

That a good idea davy but that would be limiting the unlimited access lol so that cant be done, I agree with molly that there should be a limit in the number of lite sloops but only lite sloops because the fights are more interesting with larger ships. I think 4 light sloops maximum on each side would be a fair number. Also increasing the number of ships on each side would be good idea like 15 vs 15.
