I had long ago finished my quests here and SvS while still fun, after a great amount of time had lost some of its glory. I do find myself missing all the Pirates I had sailed with for so long and must say true that the other places are not as friendly and I would love to gun on a war sloop. The problem being that I hate to dust off the old Sea Wolf and blade without some new adventures to embark on. So tell me Forum has the Great Mouse given us much new since I left for colder seas a year ago?
New adventures or story?

No.

This is Disney, not Microsoft, too. Always keep your expectations low if you want to be surprised by any content they throw at us.
Quoted because the truth.

New content in general?

Only Ship Customization to design the color of your hull, masts, emblem designs, ship perks (+1/2 to certain skills, Cargo % increases with specific ship sets, etc.), forgotten PvE ship upgrades (Now, we're more OP), and.... a "materials " collection system (Good for Blacksmith crafting in the future for new weapons).

Worth coming back and paying for?

Well, I already started my break away from the game so that's why I find it interesting to respond to this.

To begin, Disney has not patched the Live game more than 2 months+ as of today. They added the events for the holidays, but in turn, they also broke more code references that makes the game crash more than usual.

Crash points include:

- Populated servers
- Login loading screen
- Teleporting to areas
- Launching your ship
- When a high ping spike occurs

Sure, there's tons more places where this happens but you get the idea.

Second, there's nothing worth-while in the game to say "I must pay unlimited right now!". Lacking of bug fix support, Exhausted content and glitch/exploiters are a problem in the game. If you're going to come back to the game, I recommend not buying unlimited until the next update, but even that will be completely boring after the first week because they don't let you choose cannon placement, wheel placement, accessories, etc.

Like, this is just a very, very basic system of customization. A waste of time if you hate sailing.

Something to consider if you love designing your ship, sail, Ship PvP, etc.

I don't see how this is worth buying unlimited UNLESS the developers patch up the exploits abused in PvP. Even so, I'd delay in buying it until the next quest line or something.

Unlimited Access will be worth-while again when a new, longer story chapter has been released to the game (If the game lasts that long, that is).

Don't get me wrong, but, lately they haven't been "at the top of their game" when it comes to the Live game server.

It could be because they're so focused on getting the test update ready, but that, really should be no excuse for Disney NOT to hire extra workers to bring the servers down and delete the backlog of packet data - action or just chat logging - as it is just keeping the ping times towards the West Coast of the U.S. above 1000ms+ latency in some "Ideal" labeled servers and always in "Full" labeled servers.

Keep your expectations low if you want to be surprised.
