I'll occasionally play a game or two on my PSP....but as you stated minus the human interaction it is simply not the same. You build online friendships with people and the diverse personalities is part of what makes it so interesting. If POTC Online was not a muliti-player game, I would have sold my War Frigate and turned in my Cutlass last year. It's almost like a second family.....we talk to each other almost everyday, laugh, get into disputes, and share stories. I think I spend more time on POF than on POTC Online. You guys/gals all rock!

That's so true, the friendships we make online can be as unique as those we make in real life.... Nicely said Aka! To the Forums!!

Well, i've always made it a point to never own a console system. Always figured my computer did a good enough job when I wanted to play. Having played online games for over 17 years however I do know the value of a real life friend vs an online friend. I have to go with what Captain Greene said.

Dont pass up chances to spend time with, get adventurous and have fun with your real life friends. Online friends tend to come and go over time. Real life friends tend to stick with you.

Got in a motorcycle accident once a few years back, none of my online friends came to my rescue, my real life friends however came and helped me pick my bike up off the roadway, and got me to the hospital to be checked out.

Online friends are not a substitute for real life friends, this I know without a doubt.

As far as playing the games however, definately find more interactive games to be more fun than those that are not. But a individual brain buster type of game can be a bit O fun as well.

I think of yall here as my friends, even if I am a grumpy old drunken pirate mod.

I agree with you there Zep, we should never substitute real friends with online friends. We should be out having adventures and living life.. but I also agree that our Pirate friends be our mates all the same.. just in a different way But yes, don't miss out on all that life has to offer.. let yer inner pirate come through outside the game too LOL
