chat bug

I've searched and can't seem to find an answer for this. For some reason, i'm unable to see all guild chat. I can usually see one person only and sometimes, I can see two. I was suggested to redownload the game and i did and also to update my java, which I did. I have no problems with crew or local chat or with whispering.

I'm running it on Vista home premium and my sytem requirements far exceed the minimum, the rest of the game runs exceptionally well. Any Ideas? I really like the guild I'm in but I'm not able to chat with them through the guild chat.
