chat bug
 

I've searched and can't seem to find an answer for this. For some reason, i'm unable to see all guild chat. I can usually see one person only and sometimes, I can see two. I was suggested to redownload the game and i did and also to update my java, which I did. I have no problems with crew or local chat or with whispering.

I'm running it on Vista home premium and my sytem requirements far exceed the minimum, the rest of the game runs exceptionally well. Any Ideas? I really like the guild I'm in but I'm not able to chat with them through the guild chat.:piratear:

I have heard (read) various reports of similar problems, but not just with the Guild chat.

Make sure you havent 'ignored' anyone on your Friends/Guild list hehe.
(not likely, but its a possibility)

I think it may be a potco related issue, and not necessarily an individual configuration/setup sort of issue. Reports of this happening have been increasing as of late.

Do you not see ANY guild chat? just some of it? Perhaps its related to whos on what oceans/servers. (although it shouldnt matter)

Thanks for the reply. I completely meant this to go in the computer issues forum and I'm not really sure how it ended up here. lol

I do see guild members as they come on and offline but I usually can only see one guild member's chat. At first, I thought they were accidentally speaking in guild chat while the other was using local or crew chat but that's not the case.

I was in several guilds before the one I'm in now but left becuase no one was ever active or talking to me. Now I know it's just that I couldn't see what they were saying.
