The problem with real money transaction is that companies become VERY greedy. They put all the things you "need" in the game in there, making you spend more money, then more, then even more. On another game I played, players had to spend $40 a month to keep up with the updates. Without that few items you have to buy with real money, you can't really progress in game. It's equal to selling war ships, ammo, and the ability to use famed weapons only for real money.

Ah, the F2P method. What most MMO games are leaning towards nowadays...
Too bad that system can get greedy and give advantages immediately to the people who cough up cash for the game.
Ruins the balance, the point of PvP, etc.
You can't sell power. You eliminate the purpose of the game.
