No. Not really.

This is what I deduced from the mentioned garnered information:

1718- Blackbeard either fakes death or strikes a deal with Maynard to live.
1727- George II ascends the throne
1740-1750- The-king-I-won't-mention ascends the throne.
Lord Cutler Beckett starts the War Against Piracy with permission of George II.
Blackbeard lives long enough to come after the war to look to revive his youth.
