Wink Veteran Rank

Ahoy mates! Most of you already know there will be a new rank coming out soon that can add members, but not delete like officers, called a Veteran. I really can't wait for this update to arrive! Along with the new rank, officers will only be able to delete 5 members a day! This means no more guild crashing!!!

First of all, I was thinking of some possible ways on how my guild mates could earn this rank.

One idea is a level limit. For example, members who are level 40 and above are veterans. Also, you will need to have been in the guild for a week if you joined when you are level 40 or above. This may motivate them to level up!

Another idea I have is an amount of time for a member to be in the guild, which can be a month to a year. I know this proves nothing about the person, if anything, loyalty. It's just an idea, and it is hard to keep track of how long every member is in the guild, lol.

I was also thinking a good way to do it would be to go a rank at a time. For instance, you can't become an officer if you weren't a veteran first. And if you are demoted as officer, you are back to being a veteran (unless you break the rules and are booted).

Earning the Veteran rank can also be like earning the Officer rank, as you must be loyal for a while and follow the rules. Im not sure if this would take as long as earning the officer rank, probably shorter. Once you are a veteran, if you are loyal and follow the rules for a long time, you will eventually become an officer.

When I first heard of this rank, I was thinking that I should make everyone a veteran (except for the officers) so they could all guild people. But I kind of turned down that idea.

I really can't wait for the veteran rank to arrive! Some guilds may make a lot of their officers veterans, or make more officers, since they will now only be able to delete 5 members a day! This means no more guild crashing!!!

There are sooooo many ways to go on this one and I'm kinda stuck! It would be great if you guys could give me your opinions, ideas, and advice on awarding this new rank, and which ideas you think will work best. What would you do if you were a GM? If you are a GM, what might you do for your guild? Do you think having this new rank is a good idea?

Thanks for the help and fair winds!!!!!!

P.S. I never really thought of this, but I think it's important - a veteran's powers. Obviously, their power is to guild new members, and they should be instructed on how to do so. What I'm now wondering is if they should be allowed to be in charge of members. Personally, I think officers should be in charge of veterans. Since veterans can't remove members, it won't be easy for them to take control, and members won't be as intimidated. Plus, if the way to earn veteran isn't by following the rules and being loyal for a long period of time, they might not be as good of a cop. However, if a veteran breaks the rules, it would be great if officers are able to delete or demote them, too. This is another debatable topic, and I would love to hear all of your ideas on this one too! Thanks!
