This game still around?

Well, it's been awhile. My computer caught on fire back when I disappeared. I finally got myself a new laptop that should be able to play Pirates without any of the issues I had before (slow, choppy, laggy, graphics all the way down, etc.).

My question is is the game still worth installing on my new laptop? ...and a bigger question: How can I tell if my old character's are still available for play (CrimsonRabbit & Hyzenthlay) 'cause I ain't starting from scratch?
