The Grand Royal Capture the Flag Tournament
Heya everyone. As a few of you have already found out, i'm going to host a Capture the Flag (CTF) tournament. First off, the rules. (if anyone can add pics of the sides, that would be great) Deadline for entry is Sunday, March 8th
1. Two teams, 5-7 people. (Different divisions if we have enough.) 2. Two sides, the parade field, first fort, and town/upper two forts. 3. Two jails, as decided by teams. (Normal ones are the garden and the circular tower above it). If you are caught, you must go to jail. 4. Each team has 5 minutes for one to make a move once the game has started. This is to get the game moving. 5. Unless you'e going to run, don't set foot in the town or first fort. This is called camping and is against rules. 6. No glitching. 7. The flags must be disclosed, but the location does not have to be. 8. One guard per flag. 9. To free someone form jail, you must attune them, then you both have to step on the stair free zone before running again. 10. The flag is considered captured when attuned, and the attunee is back in their zone and has not been captured. The person who has "captured the flag" is not safe until they are on the free stairs between the sides. Trading: If one person from each team is captured and imprisoned, a trade can be arranged. The captains of each team tell each other they wish to trade, and the main ref will escort each to their respective side. The game works like this. The two teams will report to their side. The sides will be selected after the teams have been placed into divisions. After reporting to their side, each team will select a flag and one flag guard. The captains must share the names of flags, but not their location. One ref will be placed near each flag. You will be able to figure out a referee by the .REFEREE above their head. One each team is ready, the captains will whisper it to the 3rd "runner" ref, who will In turn start the game. Once it is started, you have 5 minutes to run to the other side, or else your team is disqualified. However, game time is indefinite. In the trials we've done, they last from 10-30 minutes. Post here if you have a team, and when you can work best. You can, and are encouraged to name your team. I also need at least 3 refs per game (one near each flag, and one as a runner).
