Not true, does noone any good to have a phone that doesnt get service. Coverage is in comparison about 3000% more important than 'nice'.

Having traveled around the US, and been to places that are often 'not covered', I know the frustration. Matter of fact, my Apple friend couldnt get his scores off his iphone the other day.. down town.

Im not knocking the iphone, dont have one, seen them, they look real cool, and appear to do alot of neat stuff, but had to contradict the thought that people go for whats 'nice' before 'coverage', most people with experience with cell phone companies etc, know coverage is everything, 'nice' is just icing on the cake. A cellphone becomes a paper weight when it gets no service.

Personally I would recommend researching coverage maps, and make sure you have the option of returning the equipment and getting your money back for 30 days or so. That way if you have issues, you have options to resolve them.

I had AT&T.... had to switch to Verizon.... why? Coverage issues (dropped calls).
And I live in a HIGHLY populated, very state of the art tech wise part of the US, they disguise cell towers as trees around here.. they are all over.
