I lost my membership with 8 months left!
 
Title says it all. I logged on today and it said I had Basic Member Access! What happened? I had 8 months left! So what the heck happened??? Any help is appreciated very much.

That happened to me too! I think it is the network problem they are having. Don't worry; when they fix the network problem, you should have your unlimited back. I am basic at the moment due to the same reason as you; I was so surprised when I came online and I had basic! xD
Anyways, it's not anything big to worry about. You should get it back soon.

Have you guys contacted Disney on their Live Chat?

They need to be aware of this so they can fix it. Also be sure that you go on the POTCO website and look in Manage Account and be sure it says you still have more time on it.

I can't get on to Manage Account or Account Manager. Their site is having issues right now...

You are not alone guys, all four of our family accounts have reverted to basic and the Potco site won't allow us to log in either! So no Live Chat support as that needs yuo to log in first... These trans-atlantic support calls to Disney are getting to cost more than the game!

i'm basic access too, but i had a year membership starting febuary.

We are currently experiencing unexpected network issues (outside of our control). You may experience interruptions during your gameplay today. Rest assured we are doing everything we can to quickly resolve the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience!

They are aware of it then. Wait until this clears up and see if you guys have Access again, if you do not, then try to contact them.

EDIT: I just got word from a friend that this is occuring on ToonTown as well, so it's not just this game that's having problems apparently.

Well, considering that I'm losing this game time, I better get a free day added to my account XD But, yeah, this stinks. First I logged in and I was basic, now I can't even get past the launcher window. Please fix this soon Disney, this is my last day playing for a week!!!!

Actually, I think this has happened before. I'm basic too, btw. But hey, at least I know how to cope with it a lot better than you blokes! Hahaha. Andrew, I think this may put a little crimp in your plans though....

Indeed... I still have Access though, we'll see what happens as the time gets closer.

This has happened multiple times in the past. It's just an error on their side, and they will fix it eventually. It's not permanent, we just have to wait.

edit: To those who haven't become basic yet, if you want to remain unlimited, it's best to not sign out of the game for a little while..

Now the launcher seems to be freezing on "Verifying Account ID and Game Access". I guess that is a good thing sorta, lol

Okay it was stuck there for about a minute and a half, it just halted and said "There was a problem verifying the Account ID."

That is what happened to me at first, then I put my pass back in and it worked.

Ok, so I logged in, was basic, got booted by my internet, and now I'm unlimited again. However, it took a few pages of refreshing "Proxy server error" (I play browser) to get it to work. I don't know why it worked though.

How many of you are playing browser version? Maybe that's the issue?

This has happened before and seems to be quite common. It happened to me last month and to several of my friends. Seems to be an ongoing issue. Unlimited was restored but it did cost game time. This and other issues like it need to be addressed and fixed ASAP rather than spending the time adding new features to game. In my view Disney customer service is extremely poor.

Me thinks double rep and double drop weekend should be initiated to forgive this unruly matter... We pay out of pocket for a good year, and we can't do anythingfor one day. I think either another free week of Unlimited should be added onto our account, or some other goody.
