Beta tester

I got my key on March 30 and then spent a frustrating week trying to validate. Chap at Disney finally told me that I had to create a brand new account in order to validate (despite being told to log in with an existing acct). Once I did that the validation went in immediately.

I got mine a week or so ago and i thought the game was cool but had so many probloms i just started playing vmk and i would restart playing the game tomorrow and it worked pretty nicely.

I also started about a week ago. I got my key with the new batch of players. I am having fun with it!
I signed up last summer. I think I may have signed up again in March when I wasn't in the first batch. I am signed up with so many Disney sites these days, it's getting harder to remember which ones I visit.

Oh, no. Nothing like that. It's just between Disney Shopping,Disney Visa,Disney Movie Club, Disney Movie Rewards, VMK, Toontown, Disney Stock, Disney Vacation Planning etc and so forth, I input my information in Disney sites a lot. It gets jumbled which site I sent what info to and why. So, I think I signed up for beta again in March, I know I signed up last summer. So I am unsure which yielded the beta key.

The original acct that I signed up with to hope had my then 5yo son's age (when I created it for Toontown) on it and I still got an invitation. When I tried my beta key it didn't work with either the 5yo's acct (which only I play) or my parent acct. I had to create (per the chap at Disney customer service) a completely new acct in order for age verification to go through. I also didn't go thru the link to become a beta tester but the one on the official site saying I want more info. I got my key about three weeks later.

I signed up on March 20th and received my beta key on March 30th. Despite the bugs and glitches I still love this game.

I can't wait untill we FINALLY get to play the full version.

I got me key on saturday, but everytime I exit the prison the game sounds like a broken record (constantly skipping) until the game crashes about 10 minutes later with a message "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error! C:\Programs Files\Disney\Disney Online\pirates.exe abnormal program termination" Ah well, I have reported it and will do some searching to see if I can resolve it...

I got my key on Saturday, too. Lots of lag and crashes. I found out you can go on 24/7, unless the whole system is down. I played from 10:30pm pdt until 12:30am pdt last night. It was quiet and not much lag. Got a lot done. You have to find everything with out a map, and that takes time. To increase your cutlass skills, kill lots of skeletons! The crabs slay me! lol

Try cleaning out your internet files. Also, check your RAM, and defrag if you can.

I understand that sending keys is random. I just singed up last month. Actually, that is good for the testers. I am retired and can play a lot, so can find bugs!
