sorry if this is said before, but I would like to board a Skeleton ship! The undead would be on there. Why are there no Skeleton flag ships?

There is also a lot of nice stuff in the trailer, wich is not 'for real'

A "Kraken' in the water somewhere. He will attack your ship when you came too close, but you can shoot him and kill him like the other enemies, that would be fun.

There ABSOLUTELY needs to be a way to add friends without having to find them in-game. There should be a way to add them when they're offline, and also even if they're online, it's hard to find others when there are so many servers and islands in game, so a system like that would be very helpful.

Oh, and everyone's talking about a trading system, they used to have one in EARLY EARLY beta 1 (there are 2 different builds of beta 1, both have different layouts), but all you could trade was gold pieces. They NEED to bring that back and turn the collectibles into some sort of trading card thing.

I'm thinking the housing system should be more pirate themed, so I'm thinking a pirate's hideout type of system.

The house should instead be like a cave or hidden shack or something, and it'll have about the same properties as Toontown's houses have.

You can invite pirates on your friend list to come, and check out your cool loot (furniture similar to Toontown you can buy/decorate). Oh, and there should be some limited edition items too like Toontown. They got the limited edition hat that is in the tailor shop instead of Toontown's catalog, but for the housing system, they can have an intercepted EITC order goods list or something cool and piratey like that.

Next, for your own personal use/storage, you can store coins similar to storing jellybeans, and a treasure chest for your cannon/pistol ammo needs. A similar piratey like neighborhood like Toontown has adds a nice touch, but isn't necessary in my opinion.

1. Type a Ship Name: Just like guilds and your name. With limitations, like no Calling it black pearl or Flying Dutchman.

2. Turn off/on Cursed pirate look: pretty self explanitory.

how bout an instance like on wow: you could ahve a high lvl cutlass tank ranged ppol and a voodoo healer with bosses and they could troptreasure and it would be easy to make gold its just like the WoW insatnces that would be very fun

Just kidding, lol. That would be awesome! Maybe shooting the navy would be fun too. It's almost the same as shooting crabs and animals, they're alive aren't they? And you can throw grenades at navy men; probably would hurt more than just shooting them.

Maybe a PvP only server, where it is allowed to attack other pirates anywhere any time. It would be great to pass the time, especially for high level pirates. You could also get items from them too. You could sink each others ship while on the High Seas.

I read all the comments above, There are a lot of good ideas and some not so good however it is worth mention. I comply information from all I believe to be good ideas and some ideas I want share too and hope its acceptable by Disney to bring them in for the game.

1: Guilds
a. Having guild home is great. But if the program sees that only support 1 house per guild then we will have overpopulated island. This was mention above by a post by alivewire82 @ 10-28-2007, 10:02 PM. However if the program can support 1 house and depends on the guild you are in, you will see only your guilds post and items there. That will defiantly work.
b. I like see Guilds markings like a piece clothing, or handkerchief or something with a design that all the guild members can where like they do on the hit reality TV Show “Survivor”. This will bring in moral for the game.
c. Have guild master or appointed officers to select Pirate vs. Pirate Guild Wars. This way 2 guilds can challenge each others for battles. Having guild team together visa the program selects a team for us. I believe it is much better. I also agree the pirate vs. pirate battle program as it is if individual pirates want just to do battles by themselves.

2: Pirates:
a. as it mention above with guild house, I notice a post by by PirateAhoy @11-21-2007, 02:21 AM mentioning individual pirates homes, same ideas as I mention in the guild section for overpopulated houses but if the program allows selected homes different place will be more ideal.
b. Underwater explore is great. Create a skill for diving would bring a whole new world. This was mention in post by, Richard SharkBones @02-12-2008, 07:25 PM. Idea would be you sail to a spot in the ocean, park and dive. The more skills you earn by diving the more stuff you will receive. Plus danger of sea monster to battle.
c. I love this idea by Marc posted by Lindyshutterbug @11-17-2007, 02:37 AM about sail ships. Having different departments is great. I have seen a lot people on ships being crewed and nothing to do because all the cannons is manned up and being used at the same time no ships are on the other side of the ship to shoot at. So all they can do is sit and watch. Having a crows nest for a long range lookout and engineer deck to allow repair damages to a point to get you home or even sail faster can improve the sailing greatly and more fun. This can still work if the pirate did not man any crew. I think this idea is super great.
d. Put in more expressions, example, slap, different types of dancing, hugs, goofy look, or maybe cheek kiss and a kick or better yet a toss of a ball to a buddy are some of the examples I think would top it off. Some people loved it when it final came out. Everywhere you turn, people are using there new expression buttons. I know. I am one of them. Lol
e. Taylor store, tattoo store, grooming store and jewelry store are great. I like see at more items to select from the store. Especially in the clothing store. A few other stores would be needo as well.

All these items I just mention are player love to see. Just hope Disney would implement them into the game. Of course we still like it to be family orientated.

More ranks would be nice as well, instead of just captain and officers, maybe deckhands, cannon fooder and the likes, maybe a specific rank for skills, like "cannoneer" which you would get a bonus if you had them on cannons or something

I would like to see a change in the way enemies attack.

as it is now, enemies simply attack those who get within range, or the player who hit them first, and remain locked till out of range or dead.

this however seems to promote alot of lower level players to swarm them after they are attacked, basically sponging off the higher level players, would be nice if they attacked against the nearest opponent who actually struck them last.

i know there is so many variables that it couldnt work without a major rethinking, such as what if a player came by and stole someones enemy with a pistol or spell shot, making the enemy chase them instead (that could be eliminated with set rep, rather than the weird system we have now i guess)
or multiple users targeting an enemy, making him run helplessly back and forth in vain til he dies.

anyways..id just like to see something that puts these freeloaders at risk, because its NOT fair. i can care less how much rep they get, thats not the point,
the point is they are using me as a shield and basically having an easy time without fear of damage. I never did that when i was leveling, i stuck with enemies that werent 1-3 levels higher than me at the most, so yes it infuriates me wishing that the enemy would just attack them ONCE, while they sit and wait and wait, till someone who could take that enemy by themselves, attacks.

How would they like it if a level 30+ player came to the port royal navy fort and started wasting every veteran in sight leaving the lower leveled players without any chance to gain rep? thats basically what it amounts to in a way, players where they should not be, doing what they shouldnt.
I know sometimes its just fun to show off or u need certain enemies for quests..thats fine, other day I was killing rock crabs, but i left the majority of them on devils anvil to the other people, i searched the other side where they werent, just so i wouldnt disrupt their leveling or their crabs LOL.
but the other day I seen a higher level player doing such a thing for quite a while in the fort, eventually the people who were trying to level just gave up and left. and they were amused by it all.

so go figure..works both ways i guess *shrugs*

How about a place to repair the Black Pearl so you could repair the black pearl for that quest since most bridges and the Golith(sp?) Really hit the pearl hard and its harder to finish the last part of the first chapter..... I had tried it 7 times since it returned to the game and so far the crew and I haven't been able to complete the battle though we have gotten feather into the battle each time
