A word about "rep-stealing"...

I have two problems with that. One is that I have tried to do that and more often then not they will follow me to the new enemy. The 2nd reason is why is it up to me to find another enemy when the intruder should have gone to another enemy in the first place.



A very unlikely scenario. When do you see this as a possibility and how does it justify rep stealing?

If for some reason this is the case you can take one low power hit on the enemy thus getting credit for the quest but not taking away much rep from the other player. Better yet, attune and heal the other pirate and get credit for the quest that way. Another option is to explain your situation to the other player and odds are a solution can be worked out that is agreeable to both.



A bad idea in so many ways. Lets just say I don't want to use other peoples bad behavior to justify my own bad behavior.




Sorry, but I am so sick of this lame excuse.. Just because we are pretending to be pirates is not a license to be rude and obnoxious. And if I play PvP its for fun not for payback.

The fact is there is all sorts of people on this online game and many age groups too! Its available to everyone all over the world, maybe you should chill out a bit.

WOW! Didn't expect all that hostility! What exactly did I say that strikes you as childish? Perhaps something I said came across more harshly then intended, happens to all of us in written communication, but your lack of specifics leads me to believe that thats not the problem. If you actually do have a grievance I'd like to hear what it is.

Rep-stealing used to be a minor annoyance for me. Just go to a quiet sever, you know? Or mess with the people who do it to you! XD However, this weekend both Galaacare and Cruzman were "Ideal"... They have always been quiet though! A new wave of kids with summer break has not only increased rep-stealing, but has given us less places to go away from it. It is REALLY wearing thin...

i think the only place we can get rid of rep steeting is padres where low lvl ppl have no bisness being there so just ask them why they are where thay can't kill anything on there own there exept one scorpian thats lvl 2-5 that shouldn't be there. the easyest way to get rid of them is keep them off padres.

i hate when the noobs do hit an enemy im killing once im like -_- then i tlel them to go away then they try to kill me with a 2 hit combo sword... i just act like im afk... but after the 5 minutes of "swish swoosh swish swoosh swish swoosh swish swoosh" i get relly annoyed so i do the blue staff forcefield and voodoo doll attunement glitch and kill them

Does that make you any better than the rep-stealer? Thats a little childish and can probably get you banned. Try talking to him or chaging server, or etc.
