Also, people ignoring you because "you arent the boss of me!" stuff.

I was playing on my lv 19 pirate yesterday, training on Cutthroat with two guildmates of mine. Out of the blue, two people, a lv 12 and 9, come up and keep attacking my kills. I politely tell them to stop, and the lv 9 says: Make me. This continued to happen, over and over, with remarks like "your not the boss of me!" and "What are you, my mom?" It really annoyed me that people could have such little respect for others.

I was really considering pulling out Davy and then destroying every enemy they got near with my grand blunderbuss... but I didnt, for better or for worse. I dont even see why people at that level should be on Cutthroat. If you ask me, a player should not be in an area if they cant kill the enemies there on their own. All they could do was attack my kills and steal rep from me. Again, it really struck me as to how rude they acted, acting like they didnt even care... sometimes I even wonder if there are people that dont know that there are other actual humans playing this game, and they think we are just computers... its a possibility....

I could have reported those guys.... but I decided it wasnt worth it. Unless somebody is really harassing players, or cursing their heads off, I usually will let it slide, but I will always give them a piece of my mind.....

One time I went to Kingshead and there was a level 31 who was reviving a level 8 basic, but every time he was almost done he would hit esc and then repeat this. I went over to the guy and revived him and the level 31 got mad at me. Kind of annoyed me because it has happened to be before and its not fun.

You see, that is a pirate acting mean, and immature. What he could have done is revived him once or twice, telling him that he shouldnt be here. Thats what I do, and if they person doesnt listen, they dont get a revive, and if they are mad at me... cant say I didnt warn them.

This is one of the problems with the revive feature. If that level 8 basic was killed, and just sent to jail, if he was smart, he would have figured out that he shouldnt go back to kingshead. Thats what happened to me when I went to Fort Charles as a level 2

However, with the revive feature, people expect a revive, and explode if they dont get one. And then there are the people that dont revive just to be mean. Not saying that I dont like the revive feature. I do! I think its one of the handiest update they have given us! Just saying that there are a lot of bad people who abuse it.

Oh, I remember a 'tuga invansion because in jail these people were using the defense boost glitch to attune to people who were in jail and kept killing them, what jerks.

Dont be mean for this reason. If you are mean, then players will not be having as much fun in the game. This discourages them from continuing to play it. If they are basic... ok, doesnt matter too much, although being mean is being mean. If they are unlimited access however, and they dont want to play because of rude players, then they may cancel their membership. Just one person doing this wont hurt POTCO much, but imagine lots of players being jerks, to lots of unlimited players, causing them to cancel their subscription. This means less money feeding in to POTCO, which means less money to help make updates, which means less updates, which means even MORE people canceling subscriptions, which means POTCO losing even MORE money, which means POTCO shutting down.

That would be the extreme view of what could happen, however, if you are being a jerk to lots of players, keep that in mind.

I agree with Dog. Just because somebody is Unlimited, doesn't mean that they should be treated better than basics. If you want to save POTCO, then don't be mean all together.

I saw people trying to KO others in Abassa by standing in the jail and using a -1 move to KO them and crash them.

Me and along with others saved a Padres Invasion.

I never said that you shouldnt treat basics with the same respect as unlimited access players. You should be kind to everyone. Im just saying that unlimited players may stop playing the game because of this, and their quitting has a bigger impact.

It doesn't matter if the person that quits is unlimited or basic, both ways have a big impact. An unlimited player quitting only prevents them from renewing, which gives Disney money. A basic player could upgrade to unlimited, giving even more money.

Everyone should be nice to others no matter what. If that isn't possible, both players could simply avoid one another.

Yes, people should be polite to each other no matter what.

I just got an idea. So, when I see someone being rude or mean, I wont usually report them unless they are really being bad. They should have a second Mean or Rude Behavior report button, one that is less severe. In this one, you can type out what happened, and the disney mods can double check everything later. In this one, you would have a three strike rule.

If you violated it once, Disney would send you an email warning you, saying something like "You have been reported of rude/mean behavior on your pirate _________. Continue rude behavior and you may be banned. This is your first out of 2 warnings. On the third you will be banned.

If you violate it again they will send another email saying: "This is the second time that you have been reported for rude/mean behavior on your pirate ____________. This is your final warning. Continue rude behavior and you will be suspended.

On the third warning you will be sent an email saying that you were suspended for bad behavior. Perhaps they can clear your record of minor violations ever 6 months or something. But I like this idea for people that I think are being rude, but not worth banning.

I wish you could type out why you reported them, especially since Rude/Mean Behavior is a lot of things, from killing people who just go into jail, or saying bad things to people.

Well... today I had another encounter on Andaba. Some guy was harassing some other pirates, and I told him to just leave them alone. I asked him why he was acting so mean, he said "because its funny". -_- yea, I agree with you guys, what a creep. Then he told me to go away, nobody asked me, and then he called me fat fingers.... what the heck!? Who says "fat fingers"?! When I told my guild about him calling me fat fingers we all started cracking up... seriously, these jerks, as mean as they can be, can really give you a laugh. Anyway, I reported him.

Fat fingers.... xD
