Granted, you get your wish. But seeing as you have wished for a wish, you have used up your wish and at the same time you have gained a wish. So you wished your wish away, gained a wish that you can't wish, and now you have an unwishable wish. So you corrupted your own wish.

Granted, but seeing as you can't turn back time, the flies are wiped out, and everyone knows you are to blame. Some people like flies, so I'm afraid you'll have to get used to bricks being thrown at your windows...
