Can the Red Ghosts be killed?

I think it is easy with a few people only if they have the correct weapons and can work well together.

The problem with larger groups is that the ghost moves around too much when attacked by multiple people, which makes it harder to focus an attack. I would say a CREW sized group of people who can listen and work well together can do it, but a random mob makes it a pain.

Find some close friends, avoid busy servers, and arm yourselves with bitter end - freeze, bladestorm, freeze, bladestorm, and maybe a few sweeps thrown in. You just need those 'freezes' to make sure the ghost doesnt attack back and regain lost health!

And YES, IMO its MUCH harder with a larger group! It just makes the ghost run and you cannot get it to stay still to freeze it.

I HEARD that the game files have several different color versions of the hat, but who knows. I have only seen the blue and red. Some also say they can drop famed, but I have yet to meet anyone personally who has gotten one from a rage ghost. Or anything BUT a party hat for that matter. Its become a bit of a joke - loot sack, HAT! Chest... HAT! SKULL CHEST..... HATTTT!!!!!!!

Maybe they should make it something like this. If they drop a pouch, you get the blue red hat, if you get a chest, it drops a green and red hat (rare) and if it drops a skull, you get a famed gold hat!

Maybe it was because of morning. Try again sometime, Nate! It worked well for me.

True but on Abassa there is so many people surrounding it that it just goes down so fast. Especially when someone uses cursed ice on it.

Trust me, if there is enough people it can work without a crew, etc. Worked for me and I have 13 party hats to prove it.

Got my first party hat yesterday and are the red ghosts ever tough to kill. I landed in the middle of what ammounted to an unorganized mob fighting them. By the time we finally killed one half the people were KO'd.
