I STILL wanna know why my ranking in the guild (not on the forums, on POTCO) says Officer when Im really a Veteran....... Just a little confused. D:

CONGRATS to Mark Stormbreaker for being named Savvy Swashbuckler.

I believe that this guild is still a great guild dispite Blade going inactive. It is up to us to keep the guild strong and I am sure Blade would not want us to let this guild die. Lord Davy wants us to hold off on recruiting new members, which I agree with fully. We need to come together as a guild. I think that we need to use this thread to post when guild events are happening, achievements, loot like famed weapons, guild stats, and when guild members are coming online into POTCO. I miss those things but we can do them ourselves.

I will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9 pm. I don't know about Saturday. Does anyone want to loot ships on Wednesday and Friday? If you do, see me and pass it on to other members. Thank you.

P.S Sharpshooter, the only thing that I could think of as to the reason you show as an officer an not a veteran is that Blade promoted you before he left. He did alot of promtions that day.

I recently rejoined Emerald again on Admiral Savvy in hopes that I, along with others, can help to rebuild this guild to its former glory. Like Del said, this is the exact same thing that happened to PIC. And if the Partners legacy could thrive despite that loss, who said that the Emerald legacy can't?

Things aren't going to magically change for the better unless action is taken.
For those Officers/Veterans who left because of the inactivity: The reason Blade promoted you was, in part, because you care so much for the guild and showed that you were willing to do whatever it takes to take this guild to the top and beyond. It's easy to say, and even think, that you'll do whatever it takes to care for your guild when it's bustling with activity, but it's times like these that put what you said to the ultimate test. Are you going to forget what you said and walk away, or are you going to stick to your word (Very un-pirate-like, but still) and help your guild in its time of need?

For those of you who are thinking about returning: Do it. Even if you were just a member during your time, we need all of the help that we could get. It's not the GM, Officers or Veterans that can do this alone; for they'd be without a job if it weren't for the members. Our primary goal at this time is to unify and embolden the few people that we have now; we can't possibly think about reverting back to our recruiting ways if we ourselves don't have faith in the same guild that we're inviting people into.

Don't get me wrong. The road to recovery will be bumpy, but it's the drive of Emerald that'll determine how long we'll have to endure the bumps. We can either do nothing and complain about how inactive this guild has become, or we can unleash that inextinguishable flame that's the spirit of Emerald Regiment and use it to show to everyone here that the loss of a GM isn't enough to stop us.

I would like to take a moment to thank all of the people outside of ER who are willing to give us an extra hand at this time. It brings a smile to my face to see that we have friends who'll aid us as well.

I rejoined Emerald for three reasons:
1) It always did have a spot in my heart, even after I left.
2) Every contribution helps. And I'm not going stand by and let a guild that was once home to such great memories fall.
3) I truly believe that we have what it takes to restore the guild.

I don't intend on being proven wrong.

I have something that came up. I will not be on POTCO tomorrow, Friday. I will be on Sunday. Maybe we can have a guild ship race on a quiet server. Can someone run that by Lord Davy when you see him? I don't see him very often.

Emerald has always been my family and I love the times that I have spent with all of you. Even though I haven't been online as often as in the past, I still plan to continue to make Emerald the finest and friendliest guild in all of POTC. ((( Blade ))) thank you for all you have done for me, and to the rest, again thanks much for helping me navigate all the ins and outs of this game - without you I'd never have enjoyed it as much!

I have a great amount of work commitments and family issues at the moment, but I wanted to stop in and say "Hey!"! I hope to see you all again soon!

Sorry to hear about the issues happening with our guild, I have not been on regularly since May but have been reading the forums every so often. I hope to get back to pirates after summer when RL settles down a bit and will try and help all I can with the guild.

I have an idea for a fun guild event. This Friday at 9pm CST we will have a ship race starting from Isla Perdida going towards Isla Tormenta, then around outside of Padres del Fuego, and finishing at Isla Cangrejos. Then, we can have the ship races include having to sink a number of ships at certain levels before finishing. Players are not allowed to port or tp. They can repair at sea. Who ever gets to me, on Cangrejos, first wins. I'm planning this on Friday at 9 pm CST, 10 pm EST, 8 pm MST, 7 pm PST. Please pass it on and remember this is for fun.

I would join, but my ship level stinks, and cause you might have to sink ships, I'd probably lose xD. Unless you can have people cannoning on the ship.

When we start, we are just going to race with no sinking ships. Then, we can form groups for the race with sinking ships. Each team will determine who will steer and who will be on cannons. I will keep time from when we start. I will take note of the ships playing. This is something new I added to this event. Each ship needs to take note of the level of each ship being sunk. The level determines how many seconds come off of the ships time.

Example: The War Sloop, Red Wrath, sank 3 ships: ship1, lvl 33; ship2, lvl 10; ship3, lvl 23. For a total of 66 seconds off of racing time of 4 min and 50 sec. So Red Wrath's time is 3 min and 44 sec.

You can use any ship and attack any enemy ship. I hope to see you Friday.

Hey Emeralds,

What guild events you want to see happen? Raids, PVP, SVS, ect... Also, when do you come on pirates? We could schedule events that happen a number of times during the day. I want to get activity back into this guild.

If we come together, we can do it.
