Hi mates,
If you have noticed, I have failed to put out a new chapter two weeks in a row. This is because I have committed to posting every Monday. This has become a problem for me. Let me give you a glimpse into my Mondays... 7:30-3:15- school 3:15-5:00- soccer game 5:30-6:00- brother's piano practice 6:00-9:30- homework and things that need to be done for the next day So, as you can see, I have a ton of things on every Monday. Therefore, I have decided to bump up my posting date to Friday night. this will be a a lot easier for me. Thanks for understanding, ~Chris Ironhawk |

Alright... Sorry about the long delay between chapters... Here is the chapter that I have prepared for you...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 4: The Woman The scarlet-red blood dripped down his mother’s neck, staining her beautiful white garments. Christopher tried to scream, but his non-existent tears were choking him up. On the inside, his mind wanted to give out. Christopher looked again. No one was around, except for six bodies, drenched in the sticky red liquid. Christopher awoke yet again drenched in a cold sweat. His eyes were burning from sobbing all night. The young man just laid there, unsure of what to do with himself at that point. Everything around him was quiet, except for his breathing. He decided t.o get started on the food for the food for his crew. It would relieve Charlotte from cooking for at least one day, and it would give him some time to clear his mind. After almost spilling arsenic into the food a few times, he was finally able to prepare some nice, juicy rib-eye steaks for his mates. The crew woke up like normal; Char first, xv then William, and finally, Pirate Guy would crawl out of bed. They ate their steak without complaint, since they had all had a hand in finding and preparing it (it was form the Cobra). At high noon, the crews of both ships started the long walk up the steep, winding hill to the town of Port Royal. They all walked in to the flag shop without a single word. Christopher approached the front counter, looking around for the person handling his order. “Well hi!” exclaimed the man from behind a curtain. “I just finished your order. Would you like them packaged up?” “No. This is fine.” Chris replied. “Alright, then.” The short, pale man said. “I assume that are still looking to honor our deal?” “Oh, I suppose…” Ironhawk said, looking quite sad while digging out his bag of gold coins. “Here you are. Five hundred gold pieces.”O? “Thank you for your business, sir.” The man said, while the crew was walking out the door. Ironhawk’s crew was not looking forward to walking the long way back down to the ships, so Chris made a quick stop at the King’s Arm, hoping to buy some fine rum for him and his crew. Chris was able to coax the bartender to sell him the last bottle of 1245 Rum, the finest the tavern has ever sold. After a few swigs of that, they were ready to get back on to the water. William was given one of the flags to take over to the Cobra. Admiral Ironhawk took the rest over to his ship. He was able to easily hoist the flag up the mast. This was the first opportunity that he really got to look at his fleet’s new flag. It was pink, as he had told the flag designer. It had a giant stack of gold right in the center of it. There were also images of dolls, staves, and swords everywhere. Christopher was one satisfied customer. As he came down, the three friends all gathered around the mast where Christopher was. “Well? What do you want?” “Ships are ready to set off, Admiral.” William reported proudly. “Would you like to launch right now?” “Yes. Set our heading for Uncharted Waters, east of here. We are going to see if we can intercept some riches from some ships. I had to bribe that guy a ton in order to get him to create ten flags in less than twenty-four hours." With that, Ironhawk retreated to to his cabin. He retrieved the small journal from his blue coat's inner pocket. He fanned through the pages to see if there as anything that he had not seen before. Nothing. Oh well. He pulled out his cutlass to admire the intricate work of the forger. Looking at the handle, he noticed a deep carving of a cobra. It twisted all about the handle, eventually winding its way up the hand guard, with its head on the very top, looking as if it was ready to crawl across the blade and bite the victim. The blade was a dark silver, making it look all the more intimidating. Before Christopher could finish admiring his magnificent blade, he heard a sharp knock on the brown door to his large cabin. "Christopher! Navy Sloop ahead!" yelled a hurrying Charlotte. "Would you like to start the boarding procedure?" "Yes. Cripple them, then we will board them. After we are on, show them no mercy." said Christopher; you could just about see the deep hatred for the Navy dripping from his mouth. "Will, bring the Cobra to the starboard of it! Once you are in position, fire at will!" Christopher had Charlotte steer the Executioner to the port of the Navy ship. "Broadside starboard!" He ran down below deck to light a fuse, which in turn lit all of the broadside cannons, an innovative method that Christopher had been working on since the battle with the Cobra. While they were at port, Christopher installed this new system in his War Frigate. When the other ship's cannons went off one after another, Christopher knew that it had worked for them, too. A loud creaking sound followed the sounds of the cannons of the Cobra. Immediately, the Admiral knew that it was time. Time for another batch of revenge. "PREPARE FOR BOARDING!" Christopher screamed, loud enough for the Navy ship and Goldwalker and Guy to here him. Christopher looked down at his waist, jus tot make sure that his cutlass was still there. He ran up the stairs back to the main deck. Charlotte was already ready with her voodoo dolls. He looked over to Captain Goldwalker and Pirate Guy. They looked ready with their staves drawn. With this, Christopher let out a loud battle scream, followed by the crews jumping over to the ship, and the fight had begun. All four of them were immediately engaged by a rag-tag team of inexperienced Navy Cadets. Christopher's crew showed no mercy. They were not in this business to play games. The young men were letting out horrible screams, which Christopher assumed, was coming from Charlotte's victims. After Chris had dealt the final blow to his man, he heard the noise again. It was not something that Chris liked to hear, but then again, he loved the sound of it. Charlotte was sending two more souls to visit Davy Jones. Everything happened in slow motion. William and Guy brought back their staves in unison, and after about fifteen seconds, dropped their arms. This brought a huge tornado around the four of them. This immediately killed off the remaining people on the ship. "Nice job guys." Christopher said, breathlessly. You three look through the hold for something to eat and treasure. I will look through the Captain's Quarters myself. Christopher immediately found the room. He opened the small wooden door and looked around. Cautiously, he walked in. Click. "What you think you are doing?" asked a deep voice. Christopher slowly turned around to see a small pistol pointed at his head. Not wanting to cause any trouble, Christopher put his hands behind his head. Just then, Christopher looked up at the man pointing the gun at his head. He knew this face. "You... YOU!" All of the events of only a week ago flashed through Ironhawk's mind. His parents' final words. The hideous laughs of the soldiers torturing the innocent people. "Do you know who I am?" "No..." The Navy Officer scoffed. "I don't have a reason to know who the likes of you." This made Christopher very angry. "You mean you don't remember my parents, who you EXECUTED in the market place? You don't remember the pain that you caused?!" Christopher had gotten very close to the Officer now. "YOU killed my parents!!" The Officer was starting to look anxious. This was the best time for Christopher to strike. In one swift movement, he unsheathed his cutlass and held it to the man's neck. With his other hand, he knocked the Officer's pistol out of his hand. Christopher brought his mouth very close to the man's ear and whispered, "Listen to me, you Navy scum. You have committed a terrible crime against me and my family. If I were you, I would take off running right now and jump off the ship, just to avoid the wrath that I am thinking about just for you." "No." the officer replied bluntly. Ironhawk smiled slightly. "Fine then. Goldwalker, take him aboard the Cobra. We are making a slight detour." After Chris handed the officer over to William, he proceeded looking around the captain's quarters. After several seconds, they heard a loud yell, "HELP!!" The three remaining of Chris’s crew ran down below deck, from which the screaming was coming from. Far in the corner of the large hold was a small cage. In it, a woman was sitting. Christopher quietly asked, “Who are you?” “Why do you need to know?” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Talk about a cliff-hanger, huh? Stay tuned till next week to see who the woman in the cage is. ~Chris Ironhawk |
