I heard that the GM's were mainly on the Ideal servers closest to the top of the server list. This doesn't mean they won't jump around from time to time, though.

GM's? Oh so THAT'S why I saw someone chasing one yesterday!
Anywho, I fought JR myself! We were just about to kill him, when he destroyed the Mansion's barricade and vanished. I even took a pic, but I can't access it on my iPod. It's not that great of a pic anyway. Also, I actually didn't die even when he attacked me with all his attacks... Something else that is weird, it somehow let me revive someone even though I was knocked out. XD CS~ |

So todays 2 Invasions sound like a "stress test" of server / player distribution and performance overall in the open world... and things went pretty good overall (and grats Del on your sucess on that server btw
 ). Once a few notes are compared then a more dependable schedule may come into effect (?) as they still got to work some bugs (the Shooting Sails Glitch and the Bandanas!!! for a few )

Can the number of players per server be reduced to better distribute all players through all the server to reduce lag and reduce those blue masses in the ideal servers?

Just great, thought the update was coming later, I want to get my account back now more than ever! But strangely I feel awkward, for the Korsairs were originally raiding, but now are being raided, Vice versa.

I got the pic:
 As you can see, nearly everyone around was knocked out, but surprisingly I was one of the few who weren't (at least, at the end, after this pic was taken, I was. XD) I'm really surprised we lost too, we had SO many people there, especially around the mansion. I guess we should have had some people around the barricades... JR's attacks just plain creep me out too. I don't know why, but I never got hit by one. I was always getting attacked by the other enemies. Or maybe I did get a stray shot from him without noticing... CS~ |

The best way to make sure you don't get killed by Roger, is to NOT be near him. He uses alot of heavy duty attacks that hit everybody within a few yards of him. What I did was stand about half the length of the Governor's Mansion away from him, and just blast him with Flaming Skull. You could also do that with pistol and grenade, so try to stay spread out the best you can. If you end up aggroing him, then just run around until somebody else manages to pick him up. Keep this up, and you'll be good to go

FYI busy or even Ideal servers are the worst way to defend against the invasions. On them D turns the damage down to ridiculous levels where even the strongest attacks do 50-100 damage at the most. It is best to do it on a quiet server where your attacks actually count for something!

Just a note, since everyone is excited about the invasions and are wondering when they are, we now have a sticky in General Discussion titled "Invasions! Crew up here!" to post when invasions will be beginning. This way everyone has one place to look for notices as to when invasions will start and do not have to hunt all over the forums to find info on them. Feel free to continue discussing the invasions here, as the other thread is only meant to discuss when invasions are beginning and where groups are meeting up.
Now... Grab yer 'nades, dolls, and other possessions, and protect the island!

Has anyone experienced the jail glitch besides Lizzy. Who posted her experience at The Helm. Twice today I have gone to jail and once I stand up in jail I get knocked out in my cell. Then the eternal loading screen takes over.

Is it me or is this happen to someone else. I've got all my weapons locked during an invasion. I couldn't switch weapons or attack with the weapon in my hand. I had to go and swim or heal a fallen comrade to get them working.
