New islands

My only comment - NO BUGS!!! I would rather NOT have an expansion and have them fix the rest of the bug first... I love expansions but they still don't have all the bugss worked out from the Weapons Expansion... much less add MORE with two new races and islands...

Disney definitely woke up to the fact the POTCO world needed major expansion, but the price of release with so many issues lingering around is almost not worth it. I was reading an article with John Smedley, one of the original creators of “EverQuest” and bow working on another MMO, and heres a comment:

In the early days of this industry, it was new, so putting something out there that was untested … (the audience) was a little bit more forgiving. In this day and age, you’ve got to spend money to get the production value and polish the game. And that’s something that we’re really focused on.

In this case - we all kinda know POTCO missed the boat when it came to content - they just didn't realise the popularity of their own creation and how determined todays players are. So now they are trying to make up for it but now have the second issue... too many bugs! Keep it in test, fix the live, port the fixes into test with the new stuff, then relase
