I think it depens on the bar u r in because i was in the port royal bar not the rowdy rooster but the other one when i play there i usually win but at the bar in th french island i never one and i spent like 200 gold and lost it ugh

Out of 13 different cards in each suit, 6 are worth between 9 and 11, and 4 of those are worth 10 exactly. So your odds of getting a ten are approx. 1 in 3 and the odds of getting close to it are about 1 in 2.
Basically, you should always assume that any card you can't see is a 10. So, do you want that 10 coming off the deck going to your hand, or do you want the dealer to get it? It all depends on what the dealer has showing. The big mistake a lot of people make when playing blackjack is assuming that they need to get close to 21. You don't, that's not your goal. As a player, your goal is to beat the dealer. If the dealer busts, you win, even if you only have 12. But if you hit on a 12 and go bust and then the dealer goes bust, you still lose. Do not try playing by the same rules the dealer uses, you will lose in the long run. The only reason the dealer wins by using those rules is because no matter what the dealer does, he wins when a player busts. |

the dealer cheats! he gets 21 every time. even if i have 21 it says dealer wins!
