My guild and I are still kinda figuring out how to handle this rank.
For the time being, we plan to keep everything as is. Members are Members, Officers are Officers, etc. etc. However, when the time comes for Officers/CoT to meet again, and decide on who should be promoted or demoted, we will try to implement this new rank, either as a stepping stone for newer promotees, a demotion of Officer - we'll just have to see. Personally, I would have much rather prefered a rank ABOVE Officer instead of below it, mainly because it fits both the heirarchy of our, and many other, guilds. Something along the lines of a Senior Officer/Co-Guildmaster, who would have a better ability to run the guild than just a regular Officer, in the absense of the Guildmaster. |

ya i agree with that to del there should be a rank for a little higher then a officer we should have the Co-Guildmaster rank so if the GM went on vk then Co-gm would be able to handle every thing a little better if needed that is so point is we need more ranks! lol lol

I think that if they added the ability to have 2 Co-GMs, they would have enough guild ranks. The veteran status is handy, but They should add Co-GM like many of you said

Your going to lose a lot of your guild if you start demoting officers. i know i would be out in a heartbeat. If you don't want them as officers you should have been more selective in the first place. Just remember their are plenty of "Guilds in the Sea"

If you do vote on this, don't exactly expect them to be for it. |

Speaking from the point of view of both Eternal Warlordz and PNC, I have to throw my two cents in. The two guilds are both set up differently. It seems to me that the selection process for both are different as well. The in-guild ranks are different as well.
The way I see this is that if I get demoted to veteran in the Warlordz, I won't see that as much of a demotion because Molly is still above me in the Warlordz rank, and the power I have as an Officer rank in there is that of only guilding and unguilding in emergencies anyway. However, in PNC, it would be different. An immediate demotion in PNC just because of the veteran rank coming out would be a lot different because the rank of Officer is so much different in PNC. It's all about how you run your guild. Both of my guilds know where the boundaries are for their officers, and they are different. |
